We were honored to be selected to provide flowers for Lisa and Elliot's Spring 2016 wedding at The Omni Homestead Resort.
We met with Lisa and Elliott back in November of 2015. We enjoyed chatting about their big day and helping pull details of their planning together. As usual, we had brought a bouquet with us so that we could play with flowers allowing Lisa to really get a feel for the size and style of bouquet she may choose.
As it turned out, there was another wedding being set up that day and we were able to walk through and see the flowers and designs they chose. Although Lisa's style was completely different, we did spot some Juliet garden roses. Lisa's favorite! We knew then, we would incorporate those into her bouquet and throughout all of the flowers because they were just that special.
Another request from Lisa were crates for the low centerpieces....our first thought was, "will that work in the ornate Crystal Ballroom?" where they were hosting the formal seated dinner reception. So, immediately we knew we would need to get creative and pull in her accent color of gold.
By using a gold wash on the crates we would compliment the lovely ornate trim and chandeliers that are such a statement in the Crystal Ballroom. They turned out beautifully, subtle and sophisticated.
Opting for white chair covers with sheer gold organza caps was the perfect way finish dressing the room. Of course, the beautiful linens, place settings, stemware and flatware provided by The Omni Homestead were set with precision by their dedicated staff to complete this custom look. Lisa's soft cream, peach and gold color theme worked beautifully in the Crystal Ballroom.
With the addition of a select few raised centerpieces the room took on an air of romantic sophistication. What a beautiful compliment of flowers and decor for this amazing wedding.
